Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants met personally to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Ex two time world title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's largest money-making draws, consistently making huge paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
